must have ethernet network card, and TCP/IP software
loaded, most computer stores have ethernet card
in stock. Either
a 10B-T , 10/100B-T , or a 100B-T network card
will work.

have their own standards, which may not be compatible
to our ATM network. The below equipment is compatible
with our systems. Typical DSL installation, does
not required any additional software to be add
to your computer.
ZYXEL
642R DSL Router
This
router is recommended for residential customers
or business that need 1 or more computers connected
to the internet. This router provides (NAT) Network
Address Translation, allowing up to 253 computers
on a network to have access to the Internet using
1 static IP address. Or can be programmed to support
custom static networks from 2-254 IP Address.
The ZYXEL 642R DSL Router
also
provides additional firewall protection to customers
computers.
This router has the capacity to have public IP
address on your internal network. This configuration
will disable the built in firewall. The ZYXEL
642R DSL Router is a PPPoA device and requires
you to have a network card or a network to plug
in to.

642MA DSL Modem
This
Modem has the capacity to hook up only 1 computer.
No additional software required. This modem does
not have the ability to port map or host any type
of servers. (This modem is recommended for residential
customers with only 1 computer) Modem is a PPPoA
device and requires you to have a network card
configured and installed.
Please
note: This router can only connect 1 computer
or device to the internet and does not support
port mapping. If you are going to hook up more
than 1 device in the future or need port mapping
ability, please consider the ZYXEL 642R Router.
This router may be configured for 2 public static
IP address with a 255.255.255.252 subnet
